we had a lovely stay at la posada hotel and gardens. it's just a 2-minute walk from 'the corner', and the decor is gorgeous! the spacious gardens were perfect for watching trains go by. breakfast was tasty, and the staff were so helpful. we loved checking out the quirky items in the gift shop. the old-style shower was surprisingly strong and hot!

I had a fantastic stay with my friends! We explored the scenic paths around the Cottonwood Grove and even spotted some friendly skunks. The historic setting made our trip special, and the cozy bar served great drinks. Just remember, the entrance requires some walking, so plan accordingly!

Our only issue was the slow bar service. It took a while to get our drinks, which was a bit frustrating after a long day of exploring.
